Ted, If that's true, why does Matthew appear before Mark in the bible since copying implies the book of Matthew was written after Mark?

Sometime in the 2nd-4th century, when the New Testament was being assembled and "canonized," they decided that Matthew should come before Mark.

Later on, theologists figured out that Mark was the original source of the first three Gospels. The original "canonizers" may not have know that, or if they did, it didn't matter to them.
