It's good to know that 10 years of coin sales will pay for a week or two of the Iraq war, and another 10 years of coin sales will pay for 3 weeks of VA hospitals and other benefits. From that standpoint, the war and the subsequent benefits and health care of vets are all but paid for in the first 1000 years of coin sales. After that it's pure gravy!

Yeah, government officials are so FOS....he didn't NEED to add any of that, just announce it (like it was a new stamp) and be done with it! So they cover their costs, and make a little extra, that's all great, but it's also what they're supposed to be doing. I guess we're all supposed to bow down in reverence since they're not actually costing us anything (this time!)
