Kerry did not run on that platform. He ran on "now that we're there in Iraq, we need to hurry up and bring in the world community as much as possible, which only I can do, and Bush can't because the world doesn't trust Bush".

Kerry would our troops home soner because he'd be able to replace them with foreign troops faster. Bush can't and won't, mainly because he doesn't want to share in any of the oil contracts for his buddies from Texas and Kuwait. Kerry might have even fired Halliburton. That I would have liked to see.
