No, I've never said that. What I do understand now is that there is more in question than simply his divinity. Frankly, my perception of a deity has little to do with a particular religion. I think most religions are tainted by the biases of humanity and not always the best way to find one's spirituality.

I was raised Christian. As a kid, I had no reason to doubt what I was taught. That's why I was surprised at the news that there is no official/secular record of his existence.

What makes you believe in him when the proof is fairly slim, and the claims about him so fantastical.......ie walking on water etc.?
