You brought up the income gap. Now look at the Communist system. In the Communist system the enemy is the bourgeoise, the middle class, not the super rich and not the lower working class or peasants. OK, follow the Communist system and the middle class is eliminated to stop what they call class envy. With only a peasant class and a super rich class, thats the biggest income gap of all. I don't see how the peasants would not envy the super rich, party elite members either. People who work jobs in this country today are the most screwed by high taxes of all kinds. Bus drivers make as much as engineers and pretty much, unless one has their own business or is taking risks, largely makes the same amount of money (within 10 to 20 thousand dollars). They say we won the cold war, but I've seen some pretty convincing argments that actually the Soviets won the cold war based on how Socialistic/Communistic the West has become. Its as if the whole world has been tranformed from two extremes to the exact same global economic socialistic system. The economics of the world are united, the next step will be to unite politically which will be a big brass ring for power capture by some tyrrant 100X worse than Hitler ever was with the exact same genocidal goals.
