It's not communism (wherever it may be which is nowhere) but fascism that is the enemy of the world. As I said, do you think Wal-Mart is a communist conspiracy to take over worldwide retailing? The Soviet Union dissolved into an oligarchy where a small number of bureaucrats and politicos took over the country and reaped all the riches. THAT is where the US of A is heading. It's a fall back to the exact same kind of system that the world has always seen except in the rarest of instances: aristocracy cemented through force and social convention. It doesn't take much work to get there. It takes a great deal of work to keep up a democracy with a progressive socio-economic system. We've gotten lazy and are letting ourselves slide backwards.
