Ted, Wasn't the fact that the hacker suddenly disappeared evidence the ploy worked........that the hacker destroyed his own hard drive? Is it common among hackers to know one's own URL?

The IP address 127.0.0.1 is a universal "loopback" address. This is basic knowledge to most hackers, which is why I couldn't believe the guy was that stupid.


So the joke wasn't real. Too bad. It still makes for a funny read.
