Canadians had a viable opposition party then. I think we do now still but too many do not. and Quebec has their own alternative. Pierre Pettigrew for PM :O)

Interesting . The problem is really no credible opposition,yet. Conservatives want a election, ASAP. Liberals will get a majority this time. Harper should wait til the inquiry is done. Probably a six week campaign. I wonder how many racial slurs the conserv's can manage in six weeks :)
They are doing exactly what the Liberals want them to do :)
