I've read way too much about Israeli democracy to think that it applies equally for Jews and non-Jews. Do you know that an Israeli cannot sell land to a non-Jew, even if they are Israeli citizens? That's just one example among very many. I'm not aware of anything in our Constitution that obligates us to defend ANY foreign countries, democracy or not. Kuwait was no democracy, but we happily put the sheiks back in charge, to oppress their minorities and women.
