Every privileged Englishwoman has a charity she champions. It would be extremely weird if she didn't. I suppose you could say that Camilla is sensitive enough to have chosen one that bore some relevance to her own family medical history, but it could also be perceived of as quite selfish, since osteoporosis tends to run in families. If she is that interested in health, perhaps she should lay off the cancer sticks! I don't see her charity work as remarkable or laudable, but then I don't like Camilla and you do. So we will just have to disagree about that. I also find hunting repugnant, as Princess Diana did. Camilla loves to hunt! I cannot think of a thing I have in common with Camilla except that we are both women. Her young son was addicted to cocaine! That would raise questions in my mind about just how attentive she was as a mother to teenagers. If I met her I would think she stank to high heaven because I cannot stand being around anyone at all who smokes. The holy tights don't surprise me because I had read a report some time ago that stated she is very relaxed and doesn't even care if the knickers she is wearing are clean. And she must be very very sexy or reassuring or something, since Charles wanted nothing more than to be a Tampax she was wearing, according to his own statements on those hilarious tapes. Additionally, I don't find it as funny as you must that she denied she was Camilla Parker Bowles. I think we probably have very different senses of humor and must enjoy totally different types of people.
