Certainly. I've said before that KLAC has no business holding $2 Billion in cash unless they plan to use it soon to acquire. Otherwise by the next bottom cycle they'll have $3 Billion. And by the top of that cycle they'll have $4 Billion. Same goes for AMAT.

Look what good $3 Billion in cash is doing SYMC.

These companies are throwing off so much cash from operations that the cash cushion has grown far above whats needed for operation thru out a complete cycle, top to bottom to top.

Interest at an recent rate 1996 to present, still doesn't justify the rotting cash they hold.

And Mr Algo Rithm just sells them on without a care. Cash and all.
