Didn't Jerry Sanders get his options repriced on multiple occasions? How did he do that?

Tax law has changed. You can't do it anymore without getting hit.

I can think of several companies that did it. Typically it's companies in trouble or during a major downturn. I remember COMS doing it a while back, and AMD did it a couple of times as well (I believe this applied to the rank and file as well, not just to Sanders, but don't recall exactly.)

I don't remember, if I ever knew. You can do it, but the tax law may create onerous results, money wize to the corporation. I don't recall, but the reprice has no special effect on the recipient but it is a "change in terms" to the company.
