Hey asswipe, PROVE IT. You guys take edited Wash Times hit pieces and try to claim they constitute proof of anything.
First of all the Wash Times isn't a reliable source. Second of all, if you find the exact JK quote you'll find he was being truthful. How do I know that? Because the Wash Times lies all the time, but JK never has in his entire history of public service. He may exaggerate like all politicians do, but only the minimum he needs to, for the most part he is a real straight-shooter, as truthful as any leader we have.

What you asswipes are doing is attacking Kerry's greatest strength, that as well as his heroic military career and valliant fight to try and stop the Vietnam War.

Oh. Yes they are under felony indictment. They were arrested and charged for trying to keep voters from voting. This is how the Kerry camp thinks...people are very angry here in Wisconsin, as they should be.

Anatomy of another rightwing lie/smear of John Kerry:

Everyone can see wstera and tonto posted a claim spread amongst many rightwing sites that claims Kerry said he met with ALL (meaning every one, the entire body) the security council members. Here is Kerry's actual quote.

" I believe in my heart of hearts and in my gut that this president fails that test in Iraq. And I know this because I, personally, and others were deeply involved in the effort with other countries to bring them to the table. I met with the Security Council of the United Nations in the week preceding the vote in the Senate."

Okay, where is the word "ALL" in this quote? What does Kerry's quote mean? It means he talked to at least the three most important members of the security council, either in person, teleconference or a combination. Not necessarily all together in the same room, but in some combination.

So where's the lie? Okay, maybe Kerry should have been more specific, and maybe he exaggerated a bit, but who cares? This is just a typical lie of the rightwing fabricated out of semantical assumptions and misinterpretations.

Just like the big lie that Al Gore said he "invented" the internet. Never said it. The true quote of Gore's was absolutely true. The rightwing just couldn't stand to give Gore credit for it so they decided to attack him for his strength. Just like in Kerry's case. Kerry is a terrific at foreign relations issues and does his homework. Bush isn't and doesn't.
