Fuel injection is a step up on fuel delivery.

You don't know what you're talking about. Fuel injection technology makes sure we never get better gas mileage!! Fuel injection is like a squirt gun shooting gas in every cylinder of the engine. It's a gas guzzling technology.

Most of the people I know walk or ride their bicycles everywhere they can--including in the rain, sleet and snow. I am not quite that hardy, and do appreciate having a vehicle. But I am very careful with it, and organize my trips in it so that they are very fuel efficient. I take the bus whenever I can. The dogs cannot take the bus to the dog park, unfortunately, because they are silly, barky, non-service dogs. My Golden would surely drop the slimy slurpy tennis ball out of his mouth and some eldster would trip and break her neck on it. Not a good scenario.
