2006 is what counts now. I hope DElay stays in power because he's someone everyone can recognize as a crooked extremist politician, and more and more real dirt (as opposed to fabricated smears) will come out about him. Just a very corrupt man. I don't care about 2008 yet. Way too far off. According to rightwing religious nuts, the rapture and armageddon will happen by then anyway so none of this will matter. Why they don't mind deficits, war and pollution I guess. But Jeb and Frist have greatly damaged themselves. The GOP now has a major problem, it's own religious right fanatic base. If they are too loyal to those freaks they'll lose the general election no matter what. Oh yeah, unless the 2nd coming really happens by then. LOL
