I am not "backing" anyone. I am bringing to the attention to those of you who support (as evidenced by your affirming posts) that the Army was right and the Italian's wrong.

This was a personal interview done with Giuliana. I thought it interesting that she has not deviated from her story and that that Army has in fact absolved all the soldiers who were involved of any culpability.

AND the TRUTH is out there some place. Having been in the Military I know that there are the same cover ups and distortions I found in the school systems I worked in. .Everyone wants to cover HIS OR HER A... and will do or tell whatever they have to to preserve their job their failure to have acted... so I know that it is human nature to not step up and say, I was wrong. I apologize, it was my error and the buck stops with me.

In today's world that seems to be impossible. There is a lack of taking responsibility for ones mistakes all down the line from government, politicians, police and even in ones own friends.. I grew up in a different time. When honor was giving ones word and no one ever thought of going bankrupt for example to absolve oneself of debt owed to others who suffered while the guilty party slipped away with the assets.. I have learned a lot in living so long. AND at this juncture as I told Tim yesterday. I tend NOT TO BELIEVE ANYTHING. It's who said this and who says that and somewhere in between there might be the truth but unless one was witness to it and saw it with ones own eyes.. and or was part of the experience... to me anymore it's all blather....

The only comment I can make about Giuliana is she seems very sincere... And I am always for the underdog... those who have been hurt or suffered regardless of their politics or affiliations... Just that they are human beings.
