From what my memory tells me....dell usually takes a hit right before earnings. John can probably verify this even more; I can remember many of his posts anecdotally pointing out the pre earnings price drop.
Dell placed most of their cards on the table last analyst meeting; no great surprises come May earnings. If Dell's gets out of stagnation phase, it'll be more to do with the economy and less to do with MSFT and INTC.
