Sure, and there are the Soros' of the world who despise Bush as well. It's like the white tie and tails scene from Moore's film where Bush giggles that this is his BASE. This is, IMO, the truth about Bush. Add that to George's finally getting Dad's attention when it was discovered that he was a credible evangelical (where Poppy wasn't) and could help get Daddy into office. Add that to George's comments that you're poor because you're stupid and lazy. Not every rich person is part of Bush's base but everyone in Bush's base is rich or trying desperately to get rich or, at least, make everyone there richer. In the end, Bush is all about money not about religion. If the fundamentalists weren't able to bring in the votes, Bush would really ignore them.
