OT -- A kinder gentler IRS and H& R Block errors

When H& R Block did my return this year, they concluded I had overpaid my estimated taxes in 2004 and was due a substantial refund.

But lo and behold the IRS informed me my overpayment was greater than Block had figured. So I got an additional $4000 refund I had not expected.

Best to check the tax preparers. I do not want to have to rely on the IRS to tell me when H&R Block makes an error in their favor.

As they say only in America!
