First Albany

NEW YORK, April 29 (newratings.com) - Analyst Auguste Richard of First Albany maintains his "underperform" rating on KLA-Tencor (KLAC.NAS), while reducing his estimates for the company. The target price has been reduced from $42.00 to $36.40.

In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that the company reported its F3Q05 EPS ahead of the estimates. KLA-Tencor posted a 12% q/q decline, however, in its net order bookings, the analyst says. First Albany expects the company to witness weakness in orders from chipmakers through this year. The EPS estimate for FY2006 has been reduced from $1.70 to $1.67.>>
