I only transcribed the first two paragraphs of the epilogue. Heinrich Harrer goes on for several more pages to bitterly disparage the Chinese occupation of Tibet.

He had many contacts among the Tibetan refugees so he was able to get their stories about what happened in Tibet. Furthermore he did go back briefly in the early 1980s and wrote another book, which I have also read...
