Nice trading. So the FED raised another 25bp, for the 8th time in this cycle, and the language looks more hawkish to me over here in SE Asia in the middle of the night. -g- Incipiant ludi! Now let's see all the douchebags cheerlead with mid cycle pause talk, and other permabull nonsense. As the carry trade vig dwindles away (as you know we live in a financially engineered environment), and certain parts of the economy are starting to cool, maybe we are due for a quarter or two of stagflation? I'm not sure except to say my bias hasn't changed and hope to allocate around the speed-bumps via dial-up in a far away land. :) I added more dated puts today - especially financials. OSK beat on eps, core biz missed so defense had upside but my thesis is that the defense side is unsustainable. From what I can tell, people were defending and humping it earlier today. added to stock small and to July 70 and 75 puts in the am. This will take some time but I still really like the idea. GD and other defense plays should follow in due course. I'm not doing as much with indexes for obvious technical reasons... very modest index shorts scaled in and hoping to pick the right spots to limit in and out, per the chart.
