He increased your DEBT silly. Why can't Republicans add? Why can't Republicans use a calculator.

They take away $35 billion from poor children and hard working families in order to give $106 billion to the ultrawealthy. Now THAT is a sin.

How stupid do Republicans think GOD IS?

Mine too, bongsnort. Of course, he lowered the taxes of the very rich a LOT more. We'll just be taxed in the future to pay down the deficits he's caused. Even YOU know you can't live on the credit card FOREVER!

Bush lowered your taxes huh? It's called a credit-card. To give you a tax cut, he borrowed the money then spent more.

Then his cronies upped the cost of energy, drugs and health care, he put a war on the credit card, gave much bigger tax cuts to the very rich, and sapped assistance to the states so many of them had to raiuse taxes or cut vital services, so things like tuition are more expensive now too.

Feel better off under Bush? Well guess what, it's an illusion. Just a short-term credit-driven sugar high. The hangover is soon to come.

If not for Greenspan's interest rate drops, who knows how bad things would be. That's kept things float for now. But US households have huge debtloads now and very little savings. Plus the government is so debt-strapped nobody has any idea how to bail it out. Except to sell the USA to China maybe.
