Pam--The low price for SNDK should be seen in context. Other semiconductor stocks are equally weak, as well as other tech hardware and software stocks. In fact, except for special situations (e.g., a new drug approval by FDA), almost all stocks except oil and gas and related issues are well below their levels at the beginning of the year. I think part of the reason for weakness is uncertainty over the weakening economy, but I also suspect that significant amounts of foreign money are being pulled out of U.S. stock and bond markets.

We'll be lucky if NASDAQ doesn't fall below 1900. A rally in SNDK should not be expected unless NASDAQ moves above 1950 or so. Still, I'm comfortable holding shares in a company with low debt and an expanding market for its products.
