The middle class tax 'cut' wasn't a cut but an advance. The cost of products and services went up. The cost of local taxes went up and/or local services went down. This is the first generation in a very long time that will not better their parents financially. It now takes two incomes (the second income being eaten up by the second car, daycare, etc.) to do what one easily did a generation ago. Aren't you for fairness? Aren't you for prosperity for all? How horrible would it be if everyone had a place to live, basic healthcare, food, clothing and a shot at more? Is that so horrendous to contemplate?
