Clinton did a lot more than Bush did against Al Qaida. Including some 300 cruise missiles, stopping the Milennium LAX bombing plot and putting LE on full alert during the Y2K period. Further, a hit team was being trained in Pakistan to go into Afghanistan and deal with OBL. But since we didn't have permission to fly over Paki airspace, only cruise missiles could be used. Remember after 9-11 Bush's first move was to get Paki airspace and landing rights permission, for a large bribe. Could Clinton stop bombings in Africa or Yemen? No. But Bush has done even worse. New stats show global terrorism tripled last year, and just today another 45 were killed in Iraq. furthermore, CLinton had a 24/7 Al Qaida counter-terror desk in the WH. Bush came in and dismissed them all without replacing them. What was that all about? What was Ashcroft telling the FBI "hands off the Saudis" all about? And what was Bush letting dozens of top Saudis and Bin Laudens fly the coop after 9-11 without interrogation all about? Where the hell is Osama Bin Lauden? Why does Bush never even mention him? Public enemy number one not even on Bush's radar screen? Why not? And why does Bush kiss the Saudi Prince whose people are sending suicide bombers to Iraq to kill our troops? What is wrong with this picture?
