BS. Anyone with a brain would have taken them seriously. But Bush didn't. Not even Rice did. And it was her job as security advisor to pay special attention to security threats. How dare you defend perhaps the greatest American leadership failure since Pearl Harbor. What kind of dishonest apologist are you?

Wrong. That's why we spend billions on things like the CIA, the FBI, the military and the police. FBI field agents knew something was up but couldn't get anyone to pull all the information together. Bush is an incompetent. Why do you want to excuse him as if he were simply on the local school board? He's the most powerful person in the world, he shouldn't have to have excuses. Goodness gracious, the man is completely over his head and the country is being run as a division of Halliburton and Exxon.
