I'm sorry the President wasted your time.

Didn't waste much of my time. It didn't take me too long to rejigger my DVD and VCR. I was home to get the news of the rescheduling in time. And I read the transcripts the next day rather than watching the Pres so that didn't take much time.

What I read in your and Karen's tone is that anything the President wants to say is always more important than anything else anyone else might want to do at any particular time the WH chooses. That's just silly.

If the WH had an ounce of foresight and consideration, they would have scheduled it for Wednesday night, the day before sweeps started, rather than Thursday. Or, if it had to be Thursday, at the very least given the networks and TV viewers a couple of days notice. As it happened, there was not enough lead time for the automatic TV schedules to be up to date and all across the country TIVO's were whirring in expectation of recording some of the most watched shows on TV, which the viewers have now missed, plus viewers didn't have enough notice to reprogram them.

"I'm sorry" but I don't that's so much to expect.
