DB,

Energy had a few options Friday: reverse, chop, or continue to fall. Speculators were faced with a decision on these stocks as to how to play them, to try to get a position from which to make profits.

Any reversal in these names is now at least one more day away, and this may be a setup I took an initial position in Friday may end up as one that yields either less profit or a small loss. That's the way speculation goes. The long side of a downtrend play is inherently more dangerous and less profitable than the short side, and I will act accordingly with position size and risk management. The volatility here, though, is a nice gift.

OIH indicates lower for Monday. After the open I will look for signs of either continued vigor in the downtrend or reversal in the works.

NBR is at support now, although it may test it more on Monday.

RIG could hold here, but more likely is a test of $45
