Just reading lastest via Philadelphia Inquirer, it appears Rosenhaus didn't know Owen's contract that well.
It is clearly stated that if T.O. misses mini-camp he will owe Eagles 1.8 million dollars from his signing bonus last year.
The contract is iron clad, and NFL Players association even advised T.O. not to sign it, because there are no loop-holes in the contract that they could see.
McNabb added if T.O. is there to catch the ball on Sundays he will get his share of throws going to him.
But he expressed again, he wants T.O. to call him and the 2 of them to have to out, in private, man to man.
Reporter feels the Eagles are prepared to have T.O. sit out a season of Football rather than trade him.
Also i feel Eagles want to get the message to Rosenhaus, you are not going to mess with our team.
Rosenhaus silence is possibly from his studying the contract and seeing he has no legal grounds to contest it.
Freddie Mitchell was not at Eagles mini-camp because Reid told him NOT to come.
Eagles are taking a hard stand, and that is good.
