I don't understand the Liberal's obsession with not privatising our health care as it already is private in many aspects. General practisioners are private businesses, testing labs are private businesses so what is wrong with private businesses providing knee, hip replacement surgeries. Years ago I had a benign tumour removed from a toe by a podiatrist. I was under complete anesthesia and this was done in a private clinic. Payment is currently made at fixed rates to doctors and labs, so why not for knee jobs?

Peter, Now don't forget Brian... Not exactly without sin...

Just to be clear I have a very low opinion of politicians in general.. but I abhor having no viable opposition even more... no checks and balances at all then.. but in general I reiterate politicians are like stocks and stocks ... :o) Message 13282288
