The only bits of the story that I remember are the incredibly dumb sex scene, that they went to some special place in the Colorado mountains, It was a long time ago that I read the book and I have vague memory of doing those kinds of things. I mean being in Colorado (Boulder). It had to do with the Colorado mountains (Flatirons), the thin air, and the lack of oxygen. But, I kind of remember class warfare (in the book) and the trashing and demonization of the lumpens.
