Hi Bubba - Consider looking at these 'stories' with a critical eye. Are you getting these stories from people you know, with not more than about 2 more links to a known, named person - or are you getting this stuff off some internet site like alt.stories-to-make-you-sad ? The stories all have a sort of "massaged" flavor with just enough non-specific detail and description to seem real and cause one to identify with the the characters in the stories. Notice : "I want to relate a story which just occured" No date - if it had a date, might make it hard for this keep circulating on the net. The first story appears to have been translated - in the US, crimes are REPORTED to police, lawyers file briefs. Just checking a few of the obvious errors - "Racism under American law is not involved because it was national origin directed (seperate laws)" All the modern (post 1930s) civil rights laws lump race, religeon, and national origin together. *************** These stories are about 1/3 Craig Shergold and 1/3 troll bait - something to start a discussion or flame war on a discussion board. The rest might be some emotional type of propaganda, hoping people might become more tolerant. ************** There are lots of real instances of nasty discrimination in the US every day - but they have dates and times, and people who have names (like Rodney King) ***************** My personal take on tolerance ? Please see South Park Episode 614 , "Death Camp of Tolerance" <something offensive for everybody !> By the way, Sout Park Episodes are troll bait...
