Bushies want to default on the treasury bonds which were used to finance they system rather than get the funds to pay the bonds from the obvious sources. The 30 year bonds were sold beginning in Reagan's time and will come due soon. If you are in the SS system then these are your bonds that he is defaulting on. Then he has the nerve to suggest that the shlemeil who has a private account invest in more treasury bonds

yah something starting to stink in toyland. i think i'll wash my top lip.

Bush's plan is to start chipping away chunks of SS and Medicare,leave the rest underfunded and hope that rightwingers in the future can do away with it altogether.
