Personally I have reservations about her destination. Why Vegas? Someone else is involved and I am betting it is a lover.

I think she should be required by her parents to write a letter of apology in longhand to every one of the 600 people who were invited to the wedding and every one of the people who searched for her. Then let it go.

I wouldn't be surprised to see her parents get stuck with a sizable search and rescue bill. That is not at all uncommon.

Forget prosecuting her. Save the courts for more significant cases.
