mandatory medical insurance... will have to be deductable from pay to work.

How will this help the self-employed without a "paycheck" per se?

The Swiss demand mandatory medical insurance.

I don't see how we can demand that anyone have insurance. We can only demand that their bills be paid. This insurance thing is a red herring and an insidious one, to boot. If people cannot legally self-insure, what does that do to the meaning of freedom?

Wonder if anyone in our government, either Dem or Repub, is studying the Swiss plan, and seeing if it could work here in the US???

The Swiss demand mandatory medical insurance. I think we will end up with something along that line. It will have to be deductable from pay to work. And will require a extremely good SS card to back it up. Which will also take care of the illegal alien problem.
