C... from my own experience that would be correct-- my father passed away last year after a 3-year struggle with cancer ... towards the end they sent a palliative care nurse to his home ... oddly enough he rejected the idea and decided it was better to die in a hospital ... after about a 1-week stay at the Gray Nuns he was moved to the Edmonton General hospital to their "9Y" palliative care unit ... the unit itself is set-up like a lodge ... wood floors, fireplaces, leather furniture, soft lighting, friendly staff and there's plenty of dignity to go around for everyone involved.

Like I keep saying, Alberta is a good place to live out your life.
