I would vote for such legislation.

What I like about it is that it is a proven program, with known pitfalls. I am surprised that some Republican has not got on it.

If such a program was passed, the Dems would be out of issues. Every election, their whole national program is tied to health insurance.

Corporations would love it because it would get the problem off their back. The medical profession would love it, because they know they would be paid. The poor would love it, because they would not be at the mercy of charity.

I don't think the Government costs would be that much more, when you look at what they are paying piecemeal now.

Auto insurance is mandatory only for liability reasons, and where it is mandatory its a state mandate not a federal one.
