Iraq is a protectorate of the US. Any attack on Iraq is an attack on us. It's absurd to think otherwise. If there were an attack on a US military base in Germany, for example, we'd consider that to be an attack on us.

This is like George Will who gigglingly says that if North Korea hits the Aleutian Islands with a nuke, it'll be no big deal. As someone else said, it is if you're an Alaskan.

Hey! Japan thinks NK had another missile test and China doesn't want the US to topple the government and have 20 million refugees.

Considering the mess the US Military has made of Iraq, China has a very good point. Even worse (the corporate media is soooooooooo slow on the uptake), if Saddam HAD a nuke, he would still be happily ensconced in his 55 palaces.
