Yes, but the farmer who uses the saved seed instead of GMO seed may have also saved the planet from destruction. I don't believe farmers have the inherent right to contaminate the landscape to make a profit, and I believe that you do. I don't think the chances we are taking with GMO crops are worth it so that Monsanto and the other GMO companies can profit endlessly. I think farmers should go back to organic farming. Just the pesticide runoff is polluting the entire world wherever pesticide farming is practiced, and we are losing topsoil. Once the topsoil is gone, no more food for anyone.
