US satellite recorded checkpoint shooting, shows speed of Italian car: CBS That Yahoo article is not reporting the satellite evidence but rather reporting that CBS reported it. Likewise the Reuters story and the Aljazeera story. So are several dozen other articles attributing it to CBS, as I mentioned. But CBS isn't reporting it, as I also mentioned. So where is the original report? Do we even know there was an original report? Or any satellite evidence? In order to bash the Times for not mentioning something, there has to be some primary source. Perhaps the Times was just reluctant to report that CBS was reporting it.
