Oh my Gawd, Grainne! A free-range chicken died for your cat?

I don't know the particulars of the new Florida gun law, so it would be nice if someone could jump in and help here. But the idea is that you will be able to kill someone who is threatening you, if I understand it correctly.

I have not looked into this in any depth, but believe the new Florida law allows the use of deadly force (i.e., shooting someone) if one has a reasonable belief of imminent, serious bodily harm.

The key here is "reasonable belief."

The difference from the older law is that there is no longer a requirement to retreat before using deadly force.

I believe redfish is a Florida resident and he also is a proponent of the new law. You might ask him. I can't as I believe he has me on ignore.

Coincidentally, the kibble I feed my cats is from those same Amish free range chickens you eat.

Every time I think of Amish chicken, I get this image in my mind of chickens with beards and little black hats.
