When I went to high school we had an hour of exercise every single day. And no one ate junky fast food--it simply was not available. Almost everyone was slim, if you look at the old photos. And with only three or four channels, even though we watched tv, it wasn't constant, and all the children played outside. What a different world, and so little time has elapsed!

I'm sure some of the cheerleaders or girls in sports might have eating disorders, or be on steroids, but I rarely have the high performing students- they mostly give me kids facing challenges

What is it that makes you "sure" of this?
