Taikun,

in the past, when it was China's turn to be bashed, there were not much China can do other than temporarily cancel the order for a couple of Boeing jets. This round may be different. Remember what happened a month or two ago when it was rumored that Korea was pulling out of US$s?

If China is forced to retaliate in the financial markets, all hell can break loose here. Of course, that would not benefit China. Ironically, it may be the Chinese who has more interest in protecting our economy than our own political leaders.
