I am agreeing paper currencies have died in the past, the US currency will die in the future - I agree 100% - you are telling me GOLD will replace it - I am reading from the futurists that gold will not be what replaces it - some other token of exchange - credit card where your units of work are stored for a certain value or some other mechanism - in star trek there wasn't exchange units anymore - you wanted something you walked up to the replicator - but the future is NOT gold - 6 billion people can not trade on ebay if they are limited to sending gold coins back and forth through fed ex -

Give the SONY EVERQUEST geeks a ham sandwich every 2 days, a coke, a computer with internet connection to the MATRIX and a level 30 wizard and they are good for 60 years - they don't need gold. Is your life better off with Silicon INvestor or a few gold coins? Come on Jay - look ahead - not behind.

The future of mankind cannot be limited to shiny metal going back and forth on UPS planes - never gonna happen, there will be 12 billion people in mine and your lifetime - they will NOT be sending gold coins back and forth to play everquest.
