Re: Since Q1 earnings overall remain excellent, it now appears that operating earnings for the S&P 500 in aggregate will be up 14% - roughly double the 7% growth analysts expected at the beginning of the quarter...

Well geez, only double! SELL if it has not at least tripled</sarcasm>

A.G. Edwards & Sons

<<NEW YORK, May 2 (newratings.com) - Analyst Gavin X Duffy of AG Edwards reiterates his "buy" rating on KLA-Tencor (KLAC.NAS), while reducing his estimates for the company. The price objective has been reduced from $60 to $50.

In a research note published on April 29, the analyst mentions that the company reported its F3Q05 EPS and revenues ahead of the consensus and the estimates. The analyst believes that KLA-Tencor's revenues and orders would bottom out in the June quarter and rebound in 2H. AG Edwards expects the company to witness an 8%-11% q/q decline in its F4Q05 revenues to $480-$500 million. The EPS estimate for FY06 has been reduced from $2.29 to $2.03.>>
