Yah I was not impressed with his audio show this past weekend but I usually like it, all the people complaining about thier losses and him telling them to average down - what poor advice. He has the cyclesman tim wood on his show who is a technical guy and I have heard them get into it over tim saying sell from the technicals and puplava would get upset and say no way tim, that is against the fundamentals. I just can't buy into the theory that in the future for 6 billion people to trade on ebay - they will need to send shiny gold metal back and forth on UPS jets. I think you will win the steaks if he bets that gold is the future of monetary exchange. Steaks might be to valuable and he wont be able to afford it though - maybe you need to bet him for some of his precious gold - hehe.

on hyperinflation: Puplava forgets China & India

with 2500 billion people, hard to overlook
but he does

Puplava also overlooks how USA exports monetary inflation
sends it to Asia
where it is imported back into the USA as price deflation
i.e. cheap Asian goods

Puplava is sorely lacking in macro-econ analysis

MishMan, make the bet
eat his lunch
