Well, its no secret that I'm not positive on the markets and I'm certainly the only bear on this board. <g>

LRCX hasn't been spared in past downturns, looking at a 5 year chart, LRCX went to $7 during the last downturn, actually $30 to $7 in a 6 month period. Not a pretty move for longs:

Certainly if we get another downturn, a move like that cannot be ruled out, and large downward moves also happened in '98 and '96, the volatility of these semi capex names is what makes them great traders, but not LTB&H.

Sorry, I went back and reread the post you wrote, and it appears I misread it. For some reason I thought you said they would be spared like they were in the past......my mistake.

Re: LRCX and the rest won't be spared, just like they haven't been spared in the past.

I will only say "WOW" to this statement and leave it at that.
