I didn't mind that you combined them. There's a sort of stream of consciousness thing that happens when you write on line- it makes it a lot different than talking, doesn't it? So much of it is just internal- when you are talking to someone you have all that other stuff to keep you more focused on the conversation between people- and I think inevitably you stay more on the joint topic. With SI though, it's more like writing a diary page, where you hop from one thing to another- as they pass through your mind. It's a weird thing- basically writing diaristically with other people. Very odd.

I think Hotel Rwanda shows very well with Beautiful People and No Man's Land. It doesn't hurt to throw in Schindler's List. You get a sort of gestalt of genocide if you see all of those, AND the flip side of genocide- namely the ability of some people to rise above genocide and do extraordinary things to stop it, or stop its effects.
