Almost everyone in the developed world (except apparently the Americans), knows that America's standard of living isn't that great, compared to the countries

If you can dispute the specific figures that I cited in that report, proving that Americans do after all have the lowest infant mortality rates, the highest percentage of home ownership, and all the other things that are measured in those reports, that would be very interesting and I would like to see your statistics.

Saying "what a crock" and "that site is a joke" are ad hominem arguments that just make your argument look extremely weak. Waving the flag and insulting liberals because you don't like the statistics you see is not going to do anything except cause a lot of hard feelings. It certainly doesn't establish that America has the world's highest standard of living, or even comes close. It is true that you may love it here, and are very proud of America, and those are feelings, of course, and perfectly fine and normal to have. But that is subjective.
